CNP provides a dynamic resource for expressing your organization’s news and ideas to a wider audience. It also serves as a networking tool for community organizations throughout the world. And best of all, it’s FREE.

Our development work is heavily underway and we plan to release CNP Version 1.0 in early 2008. At that time, we will rely on a group of “Pioneer Publishers” to help us beta test the system. After we do some fine-tuning, we will release CNP to all account holders. We recommend that you sign-up now for a CNP account so that you’ll be ready for the roll-out.

How to Establish an Account with Community News Publisher

Step One: Complete the Account Sign-Up Form
Use the Account Sign-Up form below to send us the information needed to get started. A CNP representative may call you to verify this information, or to collect more.

Step Two: Sign and Return the Licensing Form
Within 5 to 7 business days after receiving your account information, CNP will mail you a licensing agreement for you to review, sign and return. This licensing agreement is done to protect the individual services provided for all organizations. It will also protect your site and its content.

Step Three: Sign-In to your CNP Administration Area
Once the completed licensing agreement is received by CNP, we will mail you a packet of start-up materials to the address you’ve provided. This packet will include your User Name and Password for accessing the CNP administration area for your newsletter. An online tutorial and strategically placed help text will guide you through the functions and processes of CNP.

Step Four: Create and Publish Your Online Newsletter
Use the capabilities of CNP to create a unique and dynamic newsletter for your constituents, published according to your own schedule. Customizable page templates are used to help jump-start the process. In addition to your written content you can include different media elements, such as pictures, audio podcasts, and streaming video. Use the Poll and Survey tools to gain valuable audience information. You can also place your own ads and set general advertising preferences. These are just a few of the capabilities that CNP has to offer.
