What is Community News Publisher?
CNP provides community organizations with a free, feature-rich, Internet program that you can use to publish your newsletters on the World Wide Web. CNP provides a powerful means for expressing your organization’s news and ideas. It also serves as a networking tool for community organizations throughout the world.

What if I already have a website for my organization?
CNP is not intended to take the place of your current website, but to supplement it by giving you another outlet for your organization’s information. CNP is structured to produce an online newsletter, rather than a traditional communications or operations website.

Why is advertising included?
CNP knows that for many community organizations, the need is great but resources are often tight. Given this situation, CNP elected to use advertising fees to off-set the cost of operating the publishing system so that we could offer it free-of-charge to qualifying community groups. Additionally, there is a set number of ad spaces that you can “sell” to generate revenue for your organization.

Do I have control over ads that appear on my pages?
In order to bring this service to you at no cost, CNP dedicates a certain number of available ad spaces to companies that support community growth. As a member of CNP, you will be able to set certain preferences regarding these advertisers. Additional ad spaces can be customized by you for your organization.
